This is a newsletter about Complete Vocal Technique and related subjects.
Complete Vocal Institute, CVI, has had the most amazing start. So far 135 singers from England, Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Netherlands og Cyprus has enrolled. All current educations and diploma courses are sold out, but there are still some places available on the new classes, which start in February 2006. (4-months intensive singers education at the Academy and 1-year Singers Education)

Complete Vocal Academy is a huge success! 4 months of singing - singing - singing. New classes starts in February 2006.
3 new classes at the 1-year Singer Diploma Course has started in Copenhagen and Oslo. New classes starts in February 2006 in Reykjavik, Utrecht and maybe also Copenhagen.
The 3-year Singer/Singing Teacher Diploma Course. CONGRATULATIONS to the first 23 authorized Complete Vocal Technique Teachers. 3 new classes are on their way.

13 fantastic singers - Elite concert in Copenhagen JazzHouse tuesday 29th of November
Experience 13 outstanding professionel artists from Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Iceland and Netherlands at the same concert! The singers has been studying together at the 1-year Singers Diploma Course, Elite Class, and will mark the completion with a concert in Copenhagen JazzHouse. They represent many different musical styles, and their CV's contains numerous CD releases, TV- and radio appearances, and concerts from Moscow to Brunei - from european clubs to Oslo Opera and Globen Concert Hall in Stockholm.

Complete Vocal Institute – an international environment with 135 singers
The launch of CVI has made Copenhagen an attractive destination for singers. 135 singers from England, Netherlands, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia og Cyprus has signed up for the educations.

Complete Vocal Institute had its opening at the 26th of August this year. 250 singers, musicians, business relations and friends stopped by to celebrate this day and we received a countless number of wonderful congratulations and gifts. A 1000 thanks to all of you for this immense and loving support! The day started out with a reception that turned into a great party where teachers and new students was singing and playing all night long. A great launch of CVI - thanks!

Complete Vocal Academy – 4 months intensive singer education

The atmosphere at CVI is dominated by Complete Vocal Academy’s dayly teaching in vocal technique, expression, performance, improvisation, phrasing, theme-week with i.a. songwriting, rehearsel groups, jam-sessions and concerts. CVI is the only school we know of offering a 4 months education for singers only. There are no minor subjects such as piano lessons, music theory, ear training etc... 4 months with only singing requires a strong team of teachers with great technical and pedagogical skills - and useful and efficient techniques. The teachers do an amazingly good job, and the positive feedback we get from the Academy’s students is overwhelming.
Singers at Complete Vocal Academy want more: Quotes: 'I’ve already learned SO much, and I just want more'. 'It’s terrible knowing we’ve got only one and a half month left'.
7 out of 38 singers at the Academy have chosen to continue, and have qualified for the 3-year Singer/Singing Teacher Diploma Course. In addition to this several students has suggested that CVI arrange follow up courses, and we are working on this. We take it as evidence that the Academy are a great education, when we among the participants experience this huge interest for more Complete Vocal Technique. Thanks to all singers and teachers for a warm and inspiring atmosphere at CVI!

Share a flat with fellow students while studying in Copenhagen
From February there will be about 25-40 singers attending the 4-months intensive seminar at Complete Vocal Academy. Many comes from abroad, and needs to find a place to stay in Copenhagen during the semester. Therefore we are working at arranging subleasing of flats to share. There will be 2-4 persons per flat, everybody will get there own room, and the price will be 3.500 DKK per person per month. The 1-year Singers Diploma Course
During 6 seminars lasting 3 days each the singers skills are put to optimum use. And just as important: the course is a competent and safe forum for exploring new angles of the art of singing, and a place where everybody gets inspiration from everybody. It has always been a goal for Cathrine to make an education like this, and the result has turned out even stronger that we could imagine.
The first 1-year education was launched January 2005, and counts 13 professional singers from 5 different countries. Attend the Diploma Concert in Copenhagen JazzHouse, tuesday 29th of November at 8 pm.

23 authorized Complete Vocal Technique Teachers
Congratulations to the new CVT teachers and to CVI !!! We are so very proud indeed, that these fantastic singers has completed the 3-year Singing Teacher Diploma Course. They are today among the very best singing teachers in the world, with skills to teach Complete Vocal Technique, solve 95% of all vocal problems and to demonstrate all sounds from classical to hard rock singing. They were all brilliant professional singers when they started, and many were also great teachers. With hard work and vast enthusiasm (one has been travelling more than 40.000 kilometers to attend the course), and under expert guidance by Cathrine Sadolin, the attendants has turned the 3-year course into a forum where everybody could develop further. We all feel like lucky members of a happy vocal family. Thanks for 3 great years!

3 new 3-year classes

This fall 41 singers has started in 3 new classes at the 3-year Singer/Singing Teacher Diploma Course, and we do not plan to start more classes up until August 2008. However the demand for Complete Vocal Technique is increasing rapidly, so we might start already in January 2007. If you are interested in becoming an authorized Complete Vocal Technique Teacher, then fill out an application form. Only experienced singers at the age of 25 or more will be enrolled, and preferably people with teaching experience. The demand for Complete Vocal Technique is increasing rapidly, and we are happy and grateful for the amazing reception we meet where ever we go. Everywhere singers tells us that this is the most efficient and easy understandable singing techniques they have ever met, and that they are so happy that all sounds are allowed and can be produced in a healthy way.
One of many climaxes this fall was when a professional bas singer entered stage saying: 'Ok, I'll go for the high c...' After 20 minutes he had not only sung the high c several times, but also got the technique to color his sound so he almost sounded like a tenor.
Or this quote from another master class: 'It is like the big mystery of the voice is solved'.
The dutch book 'Complete Zang Techniek' has sold 1500 copies in only 14 months, and if you don't read dutch we can recommend that you start learning it by read the enthusiastic feedback from singers at the master class in Utrecht.
